ATTITUDE

Some, people are probably going to write about how much they loved this class or how this class has helped or something like that. I mean, yeah, I liked this class but I'm not gong to write about it, sorry Megan! Anyways, this post is going to be about attitude.

Attitude:
  1. A settled way of thinking or feeling, typically reflected in a person's behavior.
  2. A position of the body proper to or implying an action or mental state: "the boy was standing in an attitude of despair".
I'm going to be talking about the first definition. Attitude is everything, and by everything I mean just about everything. Having a good attitude is like having air to breathe, you can't really live without it, get what I'm saying?

The simplest thing can change your attitude quicker then the shutter of a camera.

For example say you're content and walking down the street at any given moment some creepy old guy could honk at you and yell something obnoxius. It's weird, especially if you're 12. Trust me. Then you're just kinda creeped out, so you went from "Happy!" to "What even. Eww. Um. Uh."
Then you're left like this...

Or when you're feeling crappy then some one complments you and it makes you feel on top of the world. It's insane.

Oh well. Okay. I'm done.

Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes

Sadako was 2 years old when the first Atomic bombs went off. 10 years later Sudako who was now 12 was diagnosed with Leukemia due to the radiation from the bombs. She was told she only had less then a year to live...

"If you fold one thousand paper cranes your wish will come true..."

Sadako started folding paper cranes hoping that she could make 1,000 and get better. She had made a total of 644 then she died before she could finish. Sadako's friends then finished the rest of the paper cranes in honer of Sadako and buried them with her. A few years after her death it was decided that they should make a peace memorial to represent all the children that had died due to the atomic bombs.

Pronouns and Adverbs and Nouns Oh my! Oh yeah and some Participles, Interjections, Preposition and Conjunctions

Woo! Don't you just love my witty titles? Anyway, today I will be blogging about all those parts of speech that are written above.

Okay, lets start with something easy like a noun! A noun is a word that identifies People, Places, or Things in general.

For example: Sally rode her bike to the store, "ugh" she sighed as she saw her English teacher Mr. Morrison sternly walk out. According to her he was the strictest teacher around. Sally then went into the store and purchased the items she needed and left.

Verbs, an verb is a word that is used to describe an action.

For example: Sally rode her bike to the store, "ugh" she sighed as she saw her English teacher Mr. Morrison sternly walk out. According to her he was the strictest teacher around. Sally then went into the store and purchased the items she needed and left.

Pronoun, a pronoun is something that can replace a word like a name so it doesn't get over used.

For example: Sally rode her bike to the store, "ugh" she sighed as she saw her English teacher Mr. Morrison sternly walk out. According to her he was the strictest teacher around. Sally then went into the store and purchased the items she needed and left.

Adverb, an adverb is a word that modifies a adjective or verb, adverbs frequently end in -ly.

For example: Sally rode her bike to the store, "ugh" she sighed as she saw her English teacher Mr. Morrison sternly walk out. According to her he was the strictest teacher around. Sally then went into the store and purchased the items she needed and left.

Interjection, an exclamation as part of speech.

For example: Sally rode her bike to the store, "ugh" she sighed as she saw her English teacher Mr. Morrison sternly walk out. According to her he was the strictest teacher around. Sally then went into the store and purchased the items she needed and left.

Conjunction, the act of joining two clauses

For example: Sally rode her bike to the store, "ugh" she sighed as she saw her English teacher Mr. Morrison sternly walk out. According to her he was the strictest teacher around. Sally then went into the store and purchased the items she needed and left.

Participle, a word that was a verb and got changed to an adjective.

For example: Sally rode her bike to the store, "ugh" she sighed as she saw her English teacher Mr. Morrison sternly walk out. According to her he was the strictest teacher around. Sally then went into the store and purchased the items she needed and left.

Preposition,

For example: Sally rode her bike to the store, "ugh" she sighed as she saw her English teacher Mr. Morrison sternly walk out. According to her he was the strictest teacher around. Sally then went into the store and purchased the items she needed and left.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

Okay, it didn't actually snow that much maybe an inch or so? But still, the weather is freezing! Typically I like the cold weather to me it means tea, snow and sweaters. See the problem with this weather is that there isn't really any snow. So when you look out the window it looks warm and sunny but then you go outside and the air is crisp and cold!

Then I'm just like "Oh weather you tricked me!" Then I go back inside. Pretty entertaining right?

I think this is my least favorite type of weather in all honesty but that's okay I suppose. This weather kinda reminds me of summer when it was bright and cheery out and it makes me miss it. Oh well, I love winter just as much I just don't really realize it until it actually snows.
But for now I'll just wait for snow to come~

Writers Block...

Okay, so lately I have had terrible writers block, and by terrible I mean terrible. I can't seem to focus. Typically I have a bit of writers block and I get over it but more recently I just can't write. Instead of trying to write about something else I'm going to write about how I can't write.

Last week or so I saw my schedule for classes and I noticed that out of the total of 10 classes I can have 4 of them are writing classes! So I have decided that that is the reason on why I can't write, I'm all out of writing juice! Atleast that's what I think. Then again I'm probably just crazy.

Today I have to Write

Creative title right? Today we don't really have a topic, just a required length. I've generally had a good week so far besides the fact that I had a cold other then that I've been in a really rad mood. So basically I'm going to go on rants today and making lists, not for any specific reason but just because I feel like being a nuisance.
*Sidenote- I can spell nuisance without spell check, I'm so proud of myself!*

Things that make me angry:

-Waking up late- Seriously alarm, seriously.

-Actually having to get work done and not having any computers available

-Politics- I know that I should care about them because part of my future depends on it but I don't want to have to start worrying about them till later in life

-Walking into a room while looking for something and having it turn out that the lightbulb burnt out so you have to look for something in the dark. Errg.

-Daniella- Because she's sitting next to me

-Late buses- Typically I have to be somewhere

That's a list of a few things that make me angry.

Okay, well, yeah.

The School Musical

Okay, so I somehow got convinced to tryout for the musical our school is putting on; The Sound of Music. I have only heard one of the songs in this musical and I've never seen it either. Whoops, why would I agree to this? Besides the fact that I don't really know what I'm trying out for I'm excited. My sister and some of my friends are also trying out. So I think we'll have a good time!

Now, I know I'm excited for this but I'm also terrified. I guess when I agreed to tryout I wasn't thinking about the part where I'd have to preform in front of people. YIKES! I guess it will help me get over my stage freight. Then again maybe it wont. I've never sang in front of people besides in videos and once in 6th grade where I also played ukulele for a project, yeah, I don't like talking about that...

Anyways, I'm nervous yet ambitious so we'll see how it goes!

I edited this picture and I think it's amazing!
