Okay, grammar is a very broad topic so I'll be focusing on Run-On's and sentence Fragments. This is probably a very boring topic for some people but eh it needs to be done. Run-On's are a very tricky thing, it's where you have a sentence and it doesn't really have any stops.
For example:
The other day I went to the mall and I saw the cutest pair of shoes ever then we walked around some more and I was laughing so hard that I fell over then I saw someone wearing the same shirt as me! It's kinda a bit long for a sentence don't you think?
Here's how it should look:
The other day I went to the mall and I saw the cutest pair of shoes ever! Then we walked around some more and I was laughing so hard that I fell over. I also saw someone wearing the same shirt as me!
Yeah. That's pretty much the basic idea of a Run-On sentence.
Today we also had to take a quiz sort of thing. It was really simple for me but part of the reason may be because I've taken it before. It was just a quiz on fragments and it was kind of weird. That's about it for the most part!
