Obama
So, this morning I went to Sloan's lake park at 7 to wait in line to go see President Obama in the freezing cold. Waiting in line took a while quite a while then we had to go through airport type security which was a pain. Once we joined the group of people circling the fence outlining the stage area we could see pretty well considering the time we got there. First 10 people were behind us in the crowd, then 20, then 30, then 40, then 50, then, 100 , and people kept showing up. It was still chilly outside but being surrounded by lots of people helped elude that factor. After waiting a while Will.i.am came out and was talking about Obama and the debate which I thought was interesting. Then once he was done talking he started singing and playing music. That was also really interesting. People got really pumped up during his performance so everyone was just in a really good mood. After him a few more people came up and talked and I didn't really pay attention to them, I got really bored really fast. Finally a lady came out and was talking about Health Care and College then Obama came out. Everyone was cheering and people held their cameras up. I'm short so I couldn't see anything. I decided to hold up my camera and look at that for a view. That's when I realised that at the podium he was standing on had sun blockers even though there wasn't any sun out, and it just so happend the sun blocker was blocking his face. Excellent. Terra and I came up the pun; Block Obama. I even have pictures. So even though I couldn't see him he still had a great speach and I was glad I went. :)

I edited this picture and I think it's amazing!
I'm glad I went, too! It isn't very often that the President of the United States gets to speak in your neighborhood! I also got bored quickly. I really just wanted to hear what Obama had to say about the debate. I appreciated his insight and that he addressed the fact that so many people were bummed about his "performance" during the debate. What a cool experience!
